Airports

Leeds-Bradford International Airport has daily flights to many major European destinations and worldwide through the connecting hubs of Amsterdam, Glasgow and London Heathrow. Airlines including Air Southwest, BMI, Eastern Airways, Flybe, Jet2, KLM and Ryanair.

Leeds-Bradford International Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from Harrogate.

Bus2Jet is a bus service that runs between Harrogate & Leeds-Bradford Airport. Please check the website for timetable information: www.bus2jet.com. A return will cost approximately £6.

A taxi directly from the airport to Harrogate will cost around £35

Manchester Airport offers direct flights all over the world.

Manchester airport is approximately 90 minutes drive from Harrogate.

Frequent direct train services run to and from Leeds station, where you can catch a connecting train to Harrogate. Please consult the National Rail Enquiries for timetables and information, or book your ticket on-line at www.thetrainline.com A return fare will cost approximately £28.

Trains

Harrogate Train Station

The Harrogate International Centre is approximately 20 minutes walk from Harrogate Train Station.

Taxis are available from outside the station direct to the venue and will cost approximately £5.

The bus station is located next to the train station and bus numbers 201 and 202 stop opposite the Harrogate International Centre – please see www.harrogateanddistrict.co.uk for current timetable information.

Trains from London

There are regular train services to and from London Kings Cross to either Leeds or York (journey time approximately 2 hours). There is then a connecting rail service to Harrogate from Leeds and York every 30 minutes.

Trains from London can be very expensive. You are advised to book you ticket on specific trains in advance at www.thetrainline.com

Eurostar

Eurostar trains from Lille, Paris and Brussels now terminate at St Pancras station which is adjacent to Kings Cross station in London, making travel to Leeds and York by train from continental Europe easier.

Directions to Harrogate by car:

From London: M1, then A1(M) – Junction 47 signposted Knaresborough and follow Harrogate signs.

From the North: A1 - exit Wetherby or Knaresborough (Knaresborough exit is 8 miles from Harrogate).

From the East: M621 - A1(M) - exit Wetherby.

From the West: M56 - M62 - A1 (M) - exit Wetherby.


Parking at HIC

There are 450 car parking spaces at the Harrogate International Centre.

The charges are as follows;
